Introduction
The Gods of Ink Tattoo Convention 2023 in Germany will be the first of its kind since the end of the London Tattoo Convention.

1. What is the Gods of Ink Tattoo Convention?
This April the first ever edition of the Gods of Ink Tattoo Convention will be launched in Frankfurt, Germany, promising to be an international event of grand proportions in the world of tattooing.
The convention is the product of Miki Vialetto, a respected household name for people who are familiar with the tattooing industry. He is a huge authority in tattooing with over 30 years in the field, having published several books and magazines such as Tattoo Life Magazine.
If anyone knows where to find the best tattooists in the world and how to showcase them at the highest level, it’s tattoo convention genius Miki Vialetto.
Miki is known far and wide in the permanent body art community as the co-organiser of the famous London Tattoo Convention, which began in 2005 and garnered an immeasurable level of success on a global scale.
After the impact of Covid-19 and the passing of his co-organiser Marucs Berriman, the concept of Gods of Ink was born. The launch of the Gods of Ink Tattoo Convention is already seen as a reincarnation of the London Tattoo Convention.
It will be the new haven for lovers of tattoo and permanent body art, and provide the opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in tattoos just as they previously did in London.
The convention is widely considered to be the greatest, most respected and prestigious body art convention in the world.
Across the tattooing artist community, it’s considered one of the greatest career accomplishments and a consecration of sorts if you were personally invited by Miki to his convention to show your work.
Artists have reported that their careers have totally sky-rocketed after being invited to the London Tattoo Convention, and this will surely carry over to the Gods of Ink Convention.

2. Who will be at Gods of Ink and how are they selected?
The 350+ artists featured at the Gods of Ink Tattoo Convention will be there by invitation only.
Vialetto has always made clear that his tattoo booth slots cannot be purchased or reserved, and just as the London Tattoo Convention operated on meritocracy, the Gods of Ink Tattoo Convention will be no different.
In fact, Vialetto’s team annually painstakingly researches artists from all over the world and hand-picks artists for the event.
This research isn’t based on social media, Instagram photos, follower count or TV show appearances. Miki takes the time to study artists, understand their craft, passion and their journey. The final list of invited artists is therefore a product of valuing quality over quantity.
The Straight Lines Tattoo team will be at the convention, with many of our talented artists having been personally invited to work and display their art at this already world-renowned event.
3. Straight Lines Tattoo Artists selected for Gods of Ink!
Several of our gifted and experienced artists including Sandra Daukshta, Mr. Nobody, Dave Paulo, Natasha Animal and Mihail Kogut have been chosen and personally invited by Miki to work at Gods of Ink this year.
All of our artists have honed their craft across several countries, building their portfolios and experience to a globally recognised level.
Their work was examined by Miki’s keen and experienced eye prior to being invited, demonstrating their uniqueness, authenticity and talent.
Our tattooists are award-winning artists, having taken prizes at several reputable conventions around the globe including the famous London Tattoo Convention, Milano Tattoo Convention and the Roma Tattoo Convention.
Our artists work to the highest calibre and rank within the best tattooists in the world.
4. What events will be held at Gods of Ink?
In addition to tattoo booths where you can see some of the best tattooists in the world at work, the Gods of Ink Tattoo Convention has a whole range of highlights to enjoy.
There will be galleries full of sculptures, sketches, paintings and pop-up installations too. Several art exhibitions of different styles and marketplaces will be open, with the opportunity to buy your own piece of art.
Culinary perks include the food truck and street food areas, along with themed bars.
Several competitions for different awards will take place to find the best tattoos of the event. Gods of Ink will also have several tattoo seminars, presenting opportunities to learn from other experienced and accomplished artists.
The convention will have brilliant live music, stage entertainment, including the world-famous Fuel Girls who have been a popular act for the London Tattoo Convention for several years.
